Toukiden 2 Free Alliances
The Toukiden 2 Free Alliances Version, which allows you to enjoy participating in online Group Missions with users of the retail version of Toukiden 2, is now. KOEI TECMO America is excited to announce the upcoming western release of Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version, a new free-to-play version of Toukiden 2 in which players worldwide can fight alongside players of the full version of the recently-released demon-hunting action RPG.
I still don't understand the game description.Searching online I found that you have an energy meter like mobile F2P games, and I know you can play with other people online, but I haven't found any restrictions regarding content. Do you get access to the whole game? The game description says 'You can also play the game up to and including the middle stages of the first chapter of the retail version's story free of charge'So I'm guessing you only get to play the first chapter of the game's story, but what about the 'online missions'? Can you play them and get to Ultimate missions, or just the first stages of the game?. Tl;dr: Full game with F2P systemSome notes:.Chapter 1 is FREE as in doesn't cost any stamina, the same goes for phase 1 missions. You start out with 3 stamina points (i call them SP), 1 point recharges every 8 hours. Normal missions cost 1 SP while ruin search missions cost 3 SP.You can buy premium currency (gems) with real money to recharge your stamina or to buy other things (because F2P) like more storage space, etc.You can play online with owners of the full version.I think these are the main points of the F2P version. I recommend playing through the first chapter and maybe do some online mission.
If you like this game, get the full version because with the stamina restrictions etc., it will be more expensive in the long term if you want to play F2P.I mean, its a hunting game, so you will end up repeating alot of missions to get materials you need and stamina prevents any real farming. Here’s what Koei Tecmo says about Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version:
To help repel the cataclysmic forces of demons known as Oni, players of Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version are able to take on Group Missions offered at the Command Center. There, players will visit various Ages to slay the monstrous beasts with up to four other companions from across the globe. For players of the Free Alliances Version of Toukiden 2, each mission has a Stamina Cost associated, and before venturing out into the Ages the player must ensure they have the appropriate amount of Stamina required to participate.
Stamina is a key part of Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version, as it allows players to explore and carry out missions in the surrounding areas of Maharoba Village. Each player starts with a Stamina Level of 3, and each unit of Stamina requires eight real-time hours to replenish. To dive straight back into the action without the wait, players can spend Gems purchasable at the Slayer’s Headquarters (via the PlayStation Store). Not only can Gems recover Stamina to its maximum value, but they can also be used to increase the Stamina Level to a maximum of 8. Further upgrades are also possible to the Equipment and Material Chests which allow for an abundance of items to be stored, as well as the ability to draw Mitama Tickets. These tickets are used to obtain the souls of fallen heroes which provide new combat possibilities when applied to armor and weaponry.
Players can also get a taste of the full title’s gripping narrative in Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version by playing through the first chapter of the main campaign. Slayers who purchase the full version of Toukiden 2 are able to import their Save Data from the Free Alliances Version, allowing them to continue their adventures and experience the complete tale of the Awakening and humanity’s subsequent struggle for survival.
We reviewed Toukiden 2in March and said, “Toukiden 2 is a huge step up from its predecessor, and is a smart evolution of the gameplay that Monster Hunter fans have come to know.”
