Let’s start the Star Fox Zero walkthrough with an introduction video! Please note that viewers must be at least 7-10 to watch, in Europe & America respectively, so.

Shortly after, the Star Wolf members will appear for the last time in their newly upgraded fighter ships that can transform to agile quadrupedal assault vehicles called Hunters. You have to fight all of them alone so do your best in remaining agile to avoid their attacks and using cockpit view when trying to land some hits on them. Don’t hesitate to perform a somersault when one of them gets in your six. You have to maintain as much shield as you can for this entire challenge. If you ever encounter any large cannons, destroy them first to lessen the threat around you. They’ll regularly transform to their vehicle’s hunter form which gives them faster rate of fire but your Arwing’s maneuverability is still superior to easily evade those attacks. That said, you don’t need to engage them in Walker mode.

The first mission medal for this stage can be acquired during this sequence. All you need to do is destroy a Star Wolf member while in the trench. It doesn’t matter who or what order, as long as you defeat them while you’re in the trench, you can make the medal appear. It’s recommended to do this while in Walker mode and when they’re in very low HP. Just stay in the trench and the nearby Star Wolf members will attempt to follow you to the trench. You can then ambush them there. After getting the medal, defeat the remaining Star Wolf members to proceed to the next phase of the mission.

In the second phase of the mission, you’ll be in the Corridor of Illusion. You can get two mission medals here: one is by collecting three super gold medal rings and selecting the correct path in the branches of the corridor. Shortly after starting the phase, head LEFT in the first branch and you’ll find the first super gold medal ring in the hole in the middle of the illusionary wall along the way.

In the next branch, turn RIGHT the grab the normal gold ring on the left. Continue forth and you should be able to get a laser upgrade in the middle gap before reaching the next branch.

In the following branch, turn RIGHT again then pick up the bomb in the middle of the forming illusion pillars. Continue forth and the second super gold medal ring will appear in the middle of the flipping pillars before reaching the bend in the path.

Continue along the path and pick up another gold ring and as the illusionary wall builds upward, you can pick up a laser upgrade there as well. Shortly after getting the laser upgrade, the last illusionary wall that will build up before the tunnel turns to the right will have the last super gold medal ring appear. The mission medal for this will appear in the middle of the following branch.

After getting the medal in the branch, immediately turn to the left to find another mission medal. Keep continuing along the way until you reach the end of the tunnel. The phase will be complete afterward. In summary, the correct path should be: LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT

Boss: Andross

In this final battle, you have to find an opening to engage Andross up close. While you’re outside, you can collect some of the gold and shield rings. Be careful of the flying blocks and the massive laser beams that will burst out of the walls.

Once you’re inside, transform into a walker and start shooting Andross. He will transform into an armored version with floating hands. The weakness of these hands are located in the center of the palms. Your first objective is to get rid of Andross’ hands. If you see him moving his hands together towards you, he’ll attempt to trap you in the middle and hit you with a thundering clap; anticipate this and move out of the way.

If you see him clench his fist, he’ll attempt to mow you down with a punch. If you see one of his hands hovering above you, quickly roll out of the way since he’ll attempt to slam on you from above. Destroying the left hand will leave a laser upgrade. This will also make Andross withdraw to the middle and release his powerful aura. Don’t get caught in this; find the nearest opening on the wall and fly out of the tube.

Evade the laser beams once again then collect the rings if you need to recover a portion of your shield gauge. Enter the tube again and engage Andross up close. Concentrate your fire on the remaining hand. This one hand will be capable of firing a tractor beam. You can interrupt it by firing at the weak point or by launching a well-placed bomb.

Star fox zero walkthrough part 6

After destroying both hands, Andross will now throw several blocks/ debris towards you. You can shoot these debris to prevent them from hitting you but you still have to keep moving. Another attack Andross will do is by spinning around the map with a steady stream of laser beams firing from his eyes. The level of these beams is either low (hover up) or high (remain on the ground level)

He will repeat these attacks until you’re able to shoot inside his mouth and stun him. While he’s knocked out cold, fly past him and land behind his head so you can target the weak point at the back of his head. After destroying this part, don’t celebrate yet.

As you’re trying to escape his dimension, he’ll pursue after you and will attempt to swallow you. Just move from side to side, opposite to direction where he’ll attempt to chow you down. Keep evading until a brief cutscene triggers. Fox will turn his fighter around, just in time when Andross reveals his weak point. Shoot it to completely destroy him and allow you to escape the wormhole. This sequence yields a mission medal as well.
