Bluestone State Park is in a beautiful part of West Virginia, and one of the few state parks that has a good-sized lake adjacent to it. If fishing or boating is your thing, consider Bluestone.

Description:

Bluestone State Park is located along the state`s third-largest body of water and the mouth of the Bluestone River, which makes it the perfect lakeside retreat camping spot. The park has four separate camping areas that offer unique experiences depending on your interests. There are group sites, tent sites along the river and sites across the lake that are only accessible by boat. There are a total of 120 camping sites, of which 32 sites have electric hookups. The campgrounds are open from spring through fall. Reservations are accepted on all of the sites. Bluestone Map.
